A well-balanced programme, rather demanding and amply demonstrating a high level of technical competence. ........well communicated, rhythmically sung, expressive tonal contrasts, sung stylishly, the Tonadillas suited well your wide range....much vocal colouring, excellently contrasted opera items, diction always clear, with much assurance of the dramatic; facial expressions always appropriate;

The American poems were beautifully treated, colourful use of words and dynamic variety. The Britten Songs with their most stylish delivery and crisp diction gave an exuberant finish to the overall programme
